Mrs. Mariano joins OLM Prep this year as Special Education Teacher/Learning Specialist. She is looking forward to helping all students see their potential in the classroom and find their own love for learning! Mrs. Mariano has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Southern Connecticut University and a Master of Arts in Teaching Special Education Grades K-12 from Meredith College in Raleigh,NC. She brings a decade’s worth of teaching and educational experience to OLM, spending time as a developmental therapist in the Birth to Three system, a speech language pathology assistant, early childhood education teacher, and special education teacher in both private and public school settings across the state of Connecticut in grades Kindergarten through high school . When she is not busy teaching, Mrs. Mariano enjoys spending time with her husband and raising her two daughters. She is thrilled for the opportunity to join the OLM community!
